Women’s Health and Prisons
This is was a two part group project: a scientific poster and a literature review. The project focused on three themes that disproportionally affect women’s health in prisons– healthcare, mental health, and reentry back to their communities. Reentry challenges, which was the portion I focused on, includes employment and poverty, housing, and mental health and substance abuse.
Saúde de Mulheres Acadêmica Portfolio
This is a three essay projects written and presented in Portuguese. Each of the essays discuss a different topic about women’s health in Brazil. Essay one talks about domestic violence against women. Essay two talks about holistic gynecologic health. Essay three talks about women’s health during the global pandemic COVID-19.
Color Conversations
This is a two part project that included a recorded interview and a literature review discussing harism and colorism discrimination that an individual of Afro-Latino decent has felt in their life.

Case Study Needs Assessment
This needs assessment dived into a domestic abuse case among an undocumented couple in the Athens, GA. The report was a group project and focuses on the health and cultural aspects of the case study: Chronic stress, immigration and Latinx identity. Then it focuses on what the family needs, and resources available to them in the Athens area. I focused in the immigration sections.
